Irakli Chikovani Appointed PM's Spokesperson

"Irakli Chikovani has been appointed as the Prime Minister's Spokesperson," Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia said at the cabinet meeting today, adding that the new post will enhance the quality of media and public relations.

“In order to improve the quality of our relations with the media and public, we will have a spokesperson in the Prime Minister's Office. The post will be occupied by Mr. Irakli Chikovani, the Prime Minister's Advisor for International Affairs. This is a new position and it will help us establish fast and effective communication between the governmental administration and our citizens and, of course, the media," the PM noted.
