Conference: Impact Collapse Soviet Union on Museums
The Radical changes experienced after the fall of Soviet Union, which are also reflected in the cultural heritage and development of museums, are still relevant and not properly studied or analyzed.
The conference aims to expose current problems and find possible solutions for them.
Speakers invited to the conference are leading museum professionals from Former Soviet countries and from East Europe.
The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (Conference Grants competition 2015).

Challenges of 21st century museums, dialogue of cultures in the context of museum collections.
The role of international museum institutions and networks in the process of knowledge sharing and popularization of world culture.
