Members of European Georgia Quit their Posts in Parliament

Members of European Georgia are leaving their posts and committees in parliament. Several members of the factions within the party have already appealed to the Parliament for resignation.

Sergi Kapanadze, along with quitting the post of Deputy Speaker, plans to leave the Committees on Education, Science and Culture and European Integration. Elene Khoshtaria is leaving the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee. MPs Lasha Damenia and Lela Keburia are quitting the Committee on Regional Policy and Self-Government. Irakli Abesadze and Otar Kakhidze will no longer be members of the Legal Issues Committee. 

At today's sitting, the bureau received statements by opposition lawmakers that they had left their positions.
