Independent MPs to Form Faction in Parliament

Independent MPs will form a separate faction in the Georgia parliament. Mariam Jashi will chair the new faction, to be called 'Independent Lawmaker.'

Members of the new faction will be MPs Levan Koberidze, Gedevan Popkhadze, Koba Narchemashvili, Levan Gogichaishvili, Mariam Jashi and Zviad Kvachantiradze.

The MPs note that the faction will work on issues which are important for the population.

Six lawmakers can form a separate faction in the parliament according to the general regulations of the supreme legislative body.
