PM: The State Will Not Allow Civil Confrontation

“Of course, there is no danger of civil confrontation and the state will not allow it. Everybody suspected of violence should be punished, this is the obligation of the state," said Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia, while assessing the ongoing processes in the country.

He added that "unfortunately, irresponsible people are trying to get young people involved in the political, emotionally strained process."

"There is a highly emotional environment, and there are many causes for it. The political process is ongoing on the streets instead of Parliament. Unfortunately, irresponsible people are trying to get young people involved in this political, emotionally strained process, and let's not forget that these young people may be opposing one another today, but tomorrow these people must build this country. Anyone who dares or calls for or incites this confrontation, will be held morally responsible, as well as legally,” he noted.
