17 Abkhazian Students to Celebrate the New Year in Kremlin
Students from Abkhazian schools will attend the celebration of the New Year in Kremlin. The fore mentioned information was spread by ‘Apsnypress’ the de facto press agency of Abkhazia.
The Head of the Press Relations of Ministry of Education of the self-declared Republic, Aslan Kutelia has reported that following up the invitation from the Russian President, students from Abkhazia will be guests of the Kremlin in December around the New Years.
“During December 23-28, Abkhazian students will attend the biggest New Years-themed child play in the castle of Kremlin. Students from every region of the Republic will travel to Moscow. These will be the kids from poor families, the successful students, activists, sportsmen, the winners of the Olympiads…” told Kutelia to ‘Apsnypress’.
Kutelia further reported that similar visits have been taking place for 16 years now, and there has been a rise in the number of students who get to see the Kremlin Christmas tree.
“If last year it was 12 people, this year we have 17 students who are going to see the Christmas tree in Moscow. They will also go on some tours, and visit the Moscow Circus. The kids will constantly be under control as the delegation also includes representatives from Abkhazian Ministries of Education, Public Health and Internal Affairs,” said Kutelia.
