Opposition to Picket Parliament on December 19, Hold Rallies in Zugdidi and Batumi
On Thursday, December 19, opposition representatives plan to picket the Parliament building again. Gigi Ugulava, one of the leaders of ‘European Georgia,’ made the respective statement while talking about the future plans of the opposition after the meeting in the office of the Labor Party.
"The parliamentary sessions are scheduled this week. We are going to hold a picket on Thursday and not allow insidious things to happen. Friday is the last round of negotiations this year, and the government knows about our proposals and demands. We are looking forward to their counter-proposals. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be demonstrations in Zugdidi and Batumi. This is the plan for this week," he said.
He also added that picketing the Parliament building will start from Thursday morning.
