German Ambassador Comments on the Minor's Suicide

The Ambassador of Germany to Georgia, Hubert Knirsch, today remarked on the death of 15-year-old Georgian, Luka Siradze, following his attempted suicide.

“I am very saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy. My thoughts are with the family of this boy. I am greatly affected by this tragedy. I think this is not the time and this is not my role to speak about interpretations or political consequences of this matter. I think we should focus on the grief of the family now and discuss everything else later. But I think there will be questions about this case,” the Ambassador issued a statement.
