Confirmed: Deceased Teen's Former Classmate Had Attempted Suicide

State Inspector Londa Toloraia has confirmed the information spread on the social network claiming that Luka Siradze’s former classmate had attempted suicide.

“I confirm that a 15-year-old minor has self-harmed,” Toloraia told the press before her meeting with the Chairwoman of the Parliament's Human Rights Committee, Sopio Kiladze.

The information further claims that the police talked to former classmates of the 15-year-old to identify the accused and get some details. After this meeting with the police, one of the former classmates of the boy who took his own life, a 15-year-old girl whose name is not yet known, attempted suicide.

On December 12, 15-year-old Luka Siradze attempted suicide after being questioned by the police for damaging the property of the private Mtsvane (Green) School in Tbilisi by spraying offensive graffiti on its walls. The minor died at Tbilisi’s Iashvili Children’s Hospital on December 17.
