Russian FM to Georgian Reporters: You Girls Are Sick

As the UNHRC (United Nations Human Rights Council) is taking place in Switzerland, one of the main topics of discussion continues to be the upcoming PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe) Ministerial which is planned to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The Georgian FM, Davit Zalkaliani, refused to comment on the whereabouts of the planned Ministerial, since it is under-preparation. The two alternative cities where the Ministerial might be held are Tbilisi and Strasbourg. The decision about the final location of the Ministerial will be announced tomorrow on February 26.     

When the Georgian media asked Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, whether he would attend the Ministerial in Tbilisi or not, he hurriedly replied as he was walking away from the cameras: “You girls are sick”.
