Georgian Feast Given Category of National Importance

Intangible cultural heritage monument, the Georgian Supra (traditional feast) has been given the category of national importance for culture. The above was confirmed with the decree of the government of Georgia.
"Under Article 18 of the Law of Georgia on Cultural Heritage, a non-tangible cultural heritage monument - Georgian Traditional Feast (Supra) was awarded the Category of National Importance," the Georgian Government's resolution reads.
The resolution, which entered into force on February 18, 2020, is signed by the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia.
