Special Flights Scheduled for Georgian Citizens Abroad

Georgian Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani informed the public from the government administration building, about the flights arranged by a special team to bring Georgian citizens back from a number of European cities.

He confirmed that one flight will be brought over from Berlin today, and tomorrow Georgian citizens will be able to return to Georgia from Athens, Greece, through a flight run by a Greek airline.

“Two flights will be carried out this week. The Tbilisi-Berlin-Tbilisi flight will happen today, which will bring back our citizens who were concentrated in Berlin, as well as in various European capitals. In addition, the Greek Aegean Airlines will bring our citizens from Greece tomorrow, while citizens of Greece will be able to return to their country. As of next week, a Tbilisi-Vienna-Tbilisi flight will be operated on March 26 and Tbilisi-Amsterdam-Tbilisi flight on March 31. A week later, on April 3, Tbilisi-Warsaw-Tbilisi will be operated, on April 7 - Tbilisi-Athens-Tbilisi and on April 10 - Tbilisi-Larnaca-Tbilisi. This is the schedule of the next few days, which gives us the opportunity to bring our citizens gradually back to Georgia and of course, we are working on the next flights,” Zalkaliani said.
