Donald Tusk Tests Negative for COVID-19

Donald Tusk, president of the European Council from 2014 to 2019, has tested negative for COVID-19.

“I always try to be positive. But yesterday I turned out to be negative! For once I’m happy about it,” Tusk, former Prime Minister of Poland and the current President of the European People’s Party, tweeted yesterday.

Quarantined since March 12 in Brussels, Tusk tested negative for the coronavirus on Friday, breaking the news to the public humorously in a tweet later.

At the time of writing, Poland has 2,311 confirmed coronavirus cases and 33 fatalities.
