Sanders Endorses Biden for US President

Bernie Sanders dropped out of the Presidential race last week. On Monday he announced that he is backing Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination.

“Today, I’m asking all Americans – I’m asking every Democrat, I’m asking every Independent, I’m asking a lot of Republicans to come together in this campaign,” said Sanders, adding that he endorses Biden’s candidacy to make sure they defeat “somebody who Sanders personally believes is the most dangerous president in the modern history of this country.”

Biden on his end thanked Sanders and said that Sanders’ support is “a big deal.” Biden told Sanders live on the air that if he is voted in, he will need Sanders further.
“I’m going to need you. Not just to win the campaign, but to govern,” declared Biden
