MP: Zelensky, Saakashvili Found 'Different Format of Cooperation'

David Arakhamia, Chairman of the faction 'People's Servant' of the Ukrainian Rada, said that Mikheil Saakashvili, ex-president of Georgia and former Governor of Odessa, would work in the Ukrainian government in a "different format."

"Thre are enough votes to make a decision. However, Saakashvili has been consulting with President Zelensky for several days and they have found another format of cooperation. There will be a new post," Arakhamia told Ukrainian media, however, he did not specify the exact position.

The MP noted that it was an initiative of the President. 

"As I know, another decision has been made. It will be announced in the coming days," he said. 

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky offered fthe ormer Georgian leader the seat of Deputy PM in charge of reforms several days ago. However, the Ukrainian media reported that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has withdrawn the issue of his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister from the Verkhovna Rada.
