Occupation Forces Resume Illegal Borderization Near Occupied Abkhazia
Russian-controlled occupation forces have erected illegal installations in parts of the villages of Saberio and Pakhulani, on the occupied territory, in the direction of occupied Abkhazia, the State Security Service of Georgia reported yesterday.
The Agency noted the European Union Monitoring Mission has been informed about the above.
"The previously erected illegal barbed wires are being replaced and additional barriers are being installed. The hotline has been activated and the European Union Monitoring Mission has been informed about this fact.
"Such illegal activities significantly damage the security environment on the ground and the daily life of the locals," the State Security Service said.
Earlier in April, representatives of the Russian occupation forces resumed the process of illegal borderization near the village of Takhtisdziri close to the occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region.
