General Transportation Plan of Tbilisi to be Completed at the End of the Year

The implementation of the general transportation plan of the capital will be completed at the end of the year instead of August, due to the current situation, Tbilisi Mayor Kaladze announced today. 

He said that the yellow buses would be completely replaced by the end of the year.

The yellow buses will be completely replaced by the end of the year and we will have ecologically clean Euro 6 type buses. The Asian Development Bank is assisting us in this process. In addition, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) helps us develop bus networks and directions, which is very important. As for the project of the Asian Development Bank - the general transport plan of the capital, it should have been completed in August, however, due to the current situation, this date will be postponed until the end of the year,” Kaladze said.
