Man, 63, from Occupied South Ossetia Dies on Way to Tbilisi Hospital
A 63-year-old man, Jumber Miladze, who lived in occupied Akhalgori, lost his life inside an ambulance while being taken to a hospital in Tbilisi.
According to the Akhalgori governor Nugzar Tinikashvili, the patient urgently needed medical treatment, which was not guaranteed or provided by the occupational regime. Furthermore, despite these circumstances, the Kremlin controlled Tskhinvali regime did not allow him to enter the territory controlled by the Georgian government.
“This man was asking for medical treatment, but the occupation regime did not allow him to cross the border. They made a decision when his health state was already severed. He died on his way to the hospital in Tbilisi, having been brought by the Red Cross,” Nugzar Tinikashvili told the Georgian First Channel.
