Queen Elizabeth II Congratulates Georgia on Independence Day

The Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms, Elizabeth II, has congratulated the Georgian President and people on the occasion of Independence Day, a  day of highest significance in the country’s history.

Message from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II:

“It gives me great pleasure to send Your Excellency my warmest greetings on the celebration of your National Day, together with my best wishes for the people of Georgia in the coming year,” reads the congratulatory letter sent by the Queen.
