Co-founder of New Political Platform Anna Dolidze Quits High Council of Justice

Anna Dolidze, the Founder of civic movement 'For the People,' has quit the High Council of Justice, the supreme oversight body in charge of regulating the judiciary in Georgia.

She made the corresponding statement at a briefing today, stating she intends to send the resignation notice to the President today.

In her words, "The country needs daily efforts to reform the court, it needs real work, not PR performances."

"This building can't be an arena for my fight anymore", she added.

Anna Dolidze was appointed to the council by ex-president Giorgi Margvelashvili back in 2018.
