US Amb: Ken Walker Clinic is Best Example of Cooperation with Georgian Gov't

"The friendship and cooperation that links the United States and Georgia is very important," US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan said when attending the opening ceremony of the Ken Walker University Clinic for Medical Rehabilitation in Tbilisi.

The ambassador noted that the opening of the clinic is the best example of cooperation with the Georgian government.

"I am very proud to be here today and open this very important facility. The friendship and cooperation that links the United States and Georgia is very important. I am very proud that many of the initiatives being implemented on behalf of USAID serve such important priorities.

“Apart from this one facility, we have a partnership in many other areas, which are very important in improving the quality of the healthcare system in Georgia. This is the best example of how well the Georgian government is responding to these challenges, including the new coronavirus pandemic. EMORY University will pass on the legacy of its physical rehabilitation program to Georgian partners,” said the US Ambassador.

Ken Walker University Clinic for Medical Rehabilitation has been opened in Tbilisi, at Gudamakari st. N 4.
