Nina Ananiashvili to Participate in New York City Center’s Virtual Studio 5 Series
Nina Ananiashvili will participate as a guest in New York City Center’s virtual Studio 5 series with New York City Ballet principal dancer Sara Mearns on Thursday, July 30.
The live stream starts at 8pm, Tbilisi time. The program will be on view for seven days through Wednesday, August 5, on New York City Center’s website and YouTube channel.
Sara Mearns, one of today’s leading American ballerinas, will explore the classic dual role of Odette-Odile in Swan Lake together with Nina Ananiashvili in a live online session.
This special series is curated and hosted by dance critic and historian Alastair Macaulay, former chief dance critic of The New York Times.
