Disbursement of 200-Gel Financial Assistance for Children Kicks Off

The disbursement of financial assistance to the amount of 200 GEL, which is intended for children through the age of 17, begins from today.

These funds will not be deducted from the bank accounts of people who are in arrears in an agreement reached at a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia and the heads of commercial banks.

The special electronic portal daxmareba.moh.gov.ge was created in order for parents to receive financial assistance in the amount of 200 GEL. Registration in the system will be open until 1 December 2020.

While registering, the parents of children under 18 should submit the following information:

  • Child’s name, surname, date of birth, ID number;
  • A parent / legal representative’s name, surname, ID number;
  • Bank details of a parent / legal representative;
  • Mobile number for SMS.

The above initiative aims to help Georgian youth in the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus.
