Tea Tsulukiani Resigns
Tea Tsulukiani, the longest-serving Minister of the Georgian Dream Party, has left the post of Minister of Justice. Tsulukiani was appointed back in 2012 and has now resigned because of the election campaign. She made the announcement today.
In two days, Tsulukiani will join the election campaign and is obliged by the law to step down.
Tsulukiani has been named number 4 in Georgian Dream’s electoral line-up.
Tsulukiani was the only minister unchanged since 2012. In her final remarks as the Justice Minister, Tsulukiani thanked all who had supported her.
“I want to thank you all for your advice, kind smiles… in tough moments, especially,” said Tsulukiani. She gave special thanks to Bidzina Ivanishvili.
