Embassy: Reports that Georgia Obstructs Humanitarian Aid Delivery to Armenia False
The Armenian Embassy in Georgia has issued a statement, denying reports that Georgia is obstructing the delivery of fuel and humanitarian aid to Armenia.
"This information is not true. There is no problem with the transportation of fuel or humanitarian aid," reads the statement.
The Armenian Embassy adds it is in constant contact with the relevant agencies of Georgia.
"In case of any problem related to transit on the territory of Georgia, contact the Embassy of Armenia in Georgia immediately, in order to quickly resolve the issue," the Embassy stated.
The Armenian Embassy in Georgia calls on everyone to refrain from spreading misinformation, as it directly harms the state interests of Armenia.
Heavy fighting continues around Nagorno-Karabakh. The military confrontation between Armenia and Azerbaijan started on September 27. There are large numbers of casualties on both sides.
