Transforming Past Into Inspiration: Matabeli's Retrospective Solo-Exhibition

Transforming the past into inspiration, Ketevan Matabeli works with abstract forms, handmade books, landscapes of old Tbilisi, and installations in her new retrospective solo-exhibition at the Georgian National Museum Dimitri Shevardnadze National Gallery.

Matabeli applies a unique working technique by utilizing poetry of local and global famous poets and writers, such as Rustaveli, Galaktioni, Bulgakov, and Maeterlinck.

On December 19 at 3 p.m art critic Ketevan Kintsurashvili will explore and discus Ketevan Matabeli’s art.

The exhibition runs till December 20, 2015.
