Polling Stations Close in Georgia; Ballot Counting Begins

All polling stations closed at 8:00 p.m. throughout Georgia. Ballot counting procedures have already begun.

Once the precinct summary protocols are compiled, they will be handed over to the CEC by the district election commissions and uploaded on a special website results.cec.gov.ge.

3,657 polling stations were opened across the country to conduct the elections, including 127 special polling stations set up to ensure the participation of voters in quarantine, inpatient facilities and self-isolation; 52 polling stations were opened abroad.
