Preliminary Results: Only GD, UNM Cross Threshold in Adjara Supreme Council Election

October 31 preliminary elections of the Supreme Council of Adjara have been published. The Supreme Election Commission has reported that, for now, only the Georgian Dream party and the National Movement - United Opposition Power is in the Unity bloc, have crossed the 5% threshold.

Georgian Dream candidates are the leaders in the majoritarian system of all three election districts: Batumi, Kobuleti, Kelvachauri-Keda-Shuakhevi-Khulo.

"106 proportional and 118 majoritarian constituencies have been counted. Most precincts are counted in district 29 of Kobuleti. According to this data, the majoritarian candidates of the Georgian Dream party are in the first place", - stated in the Supreme Election Commission.

On Saturday, along with the parliamentary elections of Georgia, the Supreme Council elections took place in Adjara.
