Elections 2020: Final Results & Distribution of Mandates
Based on the final data of the CEC, the second round will be held in 16 out of 30 majoritarian constituencies, including the eight constituencies of Tbilisi, on November 21.
In all of them, a candidate of "Georgian Dream" will compete with an opposition candidate.
The results of the CEC proportional list:
"Georgian Dream" - 48.15% - 61 MPs;
"UNM Power is in Unity" - 27.14% - 34 MPs;
"European Georgia" - 3.78% - 4 MPs;
"Lelo" - 3.15% - 4 MPs;
"Strategy Builder" - 3.15%; - 4 MPs;
"Alliance of Patriots" - 3.14% - 4 MPs;
"Girchi" - 2.89% - 3 MPs;
"Aleko Elisashvili - Citizens" - 1.33% - 1 MP;
Labor Party - 1% - 1 MP.
A number of opposition parties do not recognize the election results. Negotiations on this issue will be held today.
In order to protest the results, the opposition held a rally in front of the Tbilisi Parliament on November 1, and together with their supporters refused to recognize the CEC data.
