Gov't Ready for Dialogue with Opposition with Involvement of Int'l Partners

The government has said it is ready for a dialogue with the opposition.

Kakha Kaladze, Secretary General of the Georgian Dream, announced at a briefing today that the Georgian Dream party is ready to sit down at the negotiating table with the opposition with the involvement of international partners and “resolve all this in a civil manner.”

"We are ready to sit at the table, with the involvement of our friendly countries and international partners, and to resolve all this in a civil manner, and not through coups and so on," Kaladze said.

NGOs have called on both the ruling and opposition parties to start negotiations in order to bring the country out of the crisis.
