61st Round of Ergneti Meetings Held Today

The 61th round of the regular Ergneti meetings of Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism was held in Ergneti today, near the occupation line of Tskhinvali (South Ossetia).

The Office of State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality says Georgia raised the issue of Russia’s violation of the airspace controlled by the Georgian central government in the beginning of the month, presenting relevant photos and video footage.

The Ministry says the parties discussed the incidents that took place after the latest meeting and the need for continuation of the three-way format to discus missing individuals.

The Office of State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality and the National Security Service represented the Georgian Government at the meeting.

The next meeting in Ergneti village will be held on 20 January 2016.
