Parliamentary Majority Supports Candidate Ministers

The Parliamentary committees are supporting the candidate ministers nominated.

The parliament had to approve a new cabinet after the previous governmental team was suspended last Wednesday.

Parliamentary Speaker Davit Usupashvili said all committees issued positive recommendations after the candidates presented their speeches, a process which lasted for several hours yesterday.

However, the parliamentary minority United National Movement and Free Democrats do not plan to support the new government.

The Parliament will discuss the nomination of PM Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the entire executive team further today.
