President Says State Institutions Must Cooperate, Respect Each Other

In a statement released Tuesday, Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili reiterated that state institutions must continue to improve intergovernmental cooperation, including the working relationship between the offices of the president and prime minister.

“My position has not changed. State institutions have to cooperate and respect each other. I am eager to cooperate with (Prime Minister) Giorgi (Kvirikashvili) or any member of the government," Margvelashvili said.

The President of Georgia is set to deliver his annual report to the parliament tomorrow. As for the Prime Minister's attendance, it is unclear yet.
