Legendary Nato Metonidze Sings for Flood Victims

On June 30, famous contemporary Georgian singer Nato Metonidze’s concert “Intro-spection” was held at Tbilisi Concert Hall (Philharmonic). Another concert was held today to donate towards the fund for victims of the recent Tbilisi flood.

Aged 43, Metonidze sings in one of the most eminent songs that she has “passed one half of her life” yet her voice is as strong as ever. Another reason not to miss today's concert is Metonidze’s new musical program which consists of soundtracks from different Georgian classic films, thus conveying the episodes of different periods from the most recent history of Georgian cinema, since the 1960s and as shown by three great persons: stage director Davit Doiashvili, maestro Nika Memanishvili/Rachveli and indelible singer Nato Metonidze, whose voice is unforgettable once heard. This is a tandem of drama and variety art.
