Geocell & National Geographic Georgia Announce Blog Contest for a Trip to Kenya
By Nino Gugunishvili
Geocell and National Geographic Georgia this week introduced a contest to promote environmental care and raise awareness of the issues of littering as part of their on-going mobile App campaign ‘Movla’ (Care).
The competition invites participants to write a blogpost, take photos and/or make a short mobile video sharing their personal experience of traveling around Georgia, the problem of littered locations in the country and offering suggestions to solve the issue.
Participants should upload their stories and photos to the site afrika.movla.ge by December 13. According to entry requirements, the maximum word count for the blogposts is 500 words with 3 to 6 photos with captions of up to 20 words.
Three winners will be sent on a two week trip to Kenya in February, accompanied by National Geographic Georgia’s team, to enjoy the country’s magnificent wild nature; meet local tribes and explore the ocean, including a chance to see the annual shark visit to the Kenyan coast.
