Mobile Taxi Company Maxim Adds ‘Sober Driver’ Function

TBILISI- A new function has been added to the mobile taxi-ordering application Maxim. Called ‘Sober Driver,’ the addition will allow customers to order a drivers specifically for moments of late-night inebriation. The service differs from  normal taxi services in that it isn’t a taxi being ordered, but a driver for the customer’s own car.

Until now it was only possible to order such a service by phone. Traditionally, the New Year holidays see a drastic uptick in the demand for such rides.

‘Sober Drivers,’ when ordered, go directly to the client and drives his car to the desired destination, entered directly into the app. The tariff will be calculated automatically.

The service is available for android, iOS, and windows phone platforms, and is available in Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan and  Ukraine.
