Georgian Film Wins at Satellite Awards

House of Others a film by Georgian filmmaker Rusudan Glurjidze won best first feature film at the International Press Academy’s Satellite Awards in Los Angeles, California. The International Press Academy (IPA) is an entertainment media association, honoring artistic achievements in motion pictures, television, radio and new media every year. Other winners at the Satellite Awards this year include La La Land, Manchester by the Sea, and The Salesman.

House of Others also won the East of the West Award at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the Cinema Extraordinaire award at Bergen International Film Festival, and best film at the Tbilisi International Film Festival.
