Last CineClub Screening of the Season: Blind Dates
On June 26 at 7pm, Amirani cinema will screen Blind Dates. It is directed by Levan Koguashvili, who will attend the screening and remain afterwards to answer questions.
Released in 2013, the 90-minute film Blind Dates tells the story of 40-year-old Sandro, who works as a history teacher. Sandro is unmarried and still lives with his parents. He takes a fancy to Manana, who works at a beauty salon and is the mother of one of Sandro’s pupils. Manana returns his admiration but just as their love affair is about to begin, Sandro finds out that Manana has a husband in prison.
