US Vice-President to Visit Tbilisi Today

At 7pm today, The United States (US) Vice-President Mike Pence will pay an official visit to Georgia.

He is expected to reiterate Washington's support for Georgia. According to the governmental administration of Georgia, the Vice-President will arrive in the company of his spouse and will leave Georgia on August 1 at 4pm.

“The Prime Minister of Georgia will host a formal dinner for the US Vice President, his spouse and the American delegation. On August 1 a meeting between the Prime Minister and the US Vice President will be held at the Administration of the Government of Georgia, followed by joint press statements. The US Vice President will meet with military service members who participate in the Noble Partner exercises,” the statement of the Prime Minister’s Office reads.
