Info Boards Installed at Tourist Attractions in Batumi
The Tourist Production Development Agency of Ajara Tourism reports that special information boards have been installed at 10 locations near the tourist attractions in Batumi, each in 4 different languages.
“The boards have been installed at 10 major tourist and historical-cultural landmarks. Among them are Batumi Lighthouse, Colonies of Boulevard, Nobles Museum, The Synagogue and St. Nicholas Church, as well as Khariton Akhvlediani Museum of Local Heritage, Mikheil Dallons Monument and Batumi City Hall,” the statement issued by the agency reads.
Tinatin Zoidze, Director of Ajara Tourism Products Development Agency, says that it is important that tourist receive full and correct information about the main cultural and historic sites of Batumi.
“The information boards are in four languages and their installation will prevent the distribution of incorrect information about the touristic areas of our city,” she noted.
She said that in total, 25 information boards and 20 photo stands have been installed in Batumi for a period of two years.
“In the near future, we are going to install more information boards and cover the whole city,” she added.
