Kazakh Journalists Visit Georgia

A team of journalists from Kazakhstan are visiting Georgia to get better acquainted with Georgia’s tourism potential.

The visit was organized by the Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA) and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.

The crew of Kazakhstan's high-rated Mitrafilm studios are preparing an entertainment-awareness program about Georgia, set to be broadcasted on several TV channels in Kazakhstan and will be seen by millions of viewers.

The TV program will pay special attention to Georgian seaside resorts and Georgian cuisine.

Within the frame of the press tour, Kazakh journalists visited Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Gori, Borjomi, Kutaisi and Batumi.

GNTA reports that Georgia is one of the most important tourist destinations for Kazakhstan.

According to statistical data, more than 32,000 international travelers from Kazakhstan visited Georgia in the first 7 months of 2017, which is 18.7% more compared to the same period of the previous year.
