GD Mayoral Candidate Promises Greener Tbilisi

Ruling Georgian Dream (GD) Tbilisi Mayoral candidate Kakha Kaladze promises the residents of the capital a greener city in case of his victory.

“We have to turn Tbilisi into a healthy and green town,” Kaladze stated at the opening ceremony of his election headquarters.

The politician noted that his election headquarters will work every day and the office will be open for every Tbilisi resident.

Kaladze called on the population to take part in October 21 local elections and vote for their favorites.

“I will work for each Tbilisi resident. I will not get tired of working and serving Tbilisi and its citizens,” he claimed.

Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili also attended the opening ceremony of headquarters.

While delivering speech, the PM said he believes Kaladze will win the race.

“I am sure that he will win the elections in the first round and I am sure that it will be a fresh start for Tbilisi,” he stated.

GD member Archil Talakvadze will be the Head of Kaladze’s election headquarters.

He added that 10 other election headquarters will function in Tbilisi districts that will help Kaladze’s team to learn about the problems of the population and establish communication with the voters.
