Elton John Postpones Concerts in Georgia

British singer, pianist, and composer Elton John has postponed his concerts at the Black Sea Arena in Shekvetili, Georgia until next year.

The information was released by the Director of the company Eastern Promotion, Giorgi Kereselidze. According to him, the concerts will be held on June 30 and July 1, 2018 instead of September 16 and 17 of this year.

Kereselidze added that the relevant agreement has already been signed by both sides, with Elton John’s concerts at the Black Sea Arena next year set to be his only concerts in Europe in 2018.

Davey Johnstone, a member of Elton John’s band, has been named as the official reason for postponing the concerts, as he underwent surgery on his hand and cannot perform for some period.

As reported, ticketholders for the concerts on the 16th -17th September will be able to attend the concerts of June 30 and July 1 with the same tickets. The owners of tickets of September 16 concert will be able to attend the concert with the same tickets on June 30 and September 17 tickets will be relevant for July 1 concert.

Elton John, his band and band management Solo and Eastern Promotion are very sorry for the incident and apologize to Georgian fans.
