Georgia’s Kvirikashvili Meets President of National Assembly of Armenia
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili had a meeting with the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ara Babloyan, on September 26.
The meeting took place in Tbilisi during the visit of the Armenian delegation in Georgia.
Both parties noted that Georgia and Armenia celebrate 25 years from establishing diplomatic ties.
Ara Babloyan emphasized the potential of deepening relations between the two countries.
Kvirikashvili thanked Armenia for its assistance in the firefighting operations in the Borjomi Gorge.
The two sides agreed to enhance ties between both countries' legislative bodies and prospects of deepening trade and economic cooperation, and also mentioned the development of relations in the areas of tourism and cultural heritage.
