President Margvelashvili Appoints New Ambassadors
Giorgi Margvelashvili, President of Georgia, has appointed new ambassadors to three republics.
Malkhaz Mikeladze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United States of Mexico, also accredited to the Republic of Cuba, will be replaced by Zurab Eristavi, as Ambassador of Georgia to Mexico from August 1, and by Gia Nikolaishvili, who will serve as Georgia’s Ambassador to Cuba, from September 15.
Revaz Beshidze will replace Giorgi Gorgiladze, and take up the position as Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Portugal, starting from January 1, 2016.
President Margvelashvili met with the newly appointed ambassadors in the Presidential Palace and wished success in their future endeavors as representatives of the Georgian state.
