Georgia’s Kvirikashvili Meets Estonian President
Political, economic and trade relations between Georgia and Estonia were discussed during a meeting between the Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, and the President of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid.
The meeting was held on November 1 in Tbilisi. Particular attention was paid to sectoral cooperation. Both parties exchanged information concerning the economic and trade aspects of the two countries.
"Estonia, as one of the contributor-states, may freely share the success achieved by Georgia," Kvirikashvili told Kaljulaid, adding that unlocking the full potential across various fields is highly desirable.
The parties also discussed the Eastern Partnership Summit, which will be held this November, under the auspices of the European Union. It was noted that Georgia will attend the Summit as a country that has met all the requirements. The Prime Minister updated the President of Estonia on the deplorable situation in the occupied territories of Georgia.
The Estonian President reaffirmed that Tallinn stands as a firm supporter of Georgian sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Prime Minister has said he greatly values the supportive statements made by the President of Estonia in regards to Georgia.
After the face-to-face meeting, Kvirikashvili hosted the Estonian President at a working lunch.
