Georgian Model Features in Gucci Pre-Fall 2018 Collection
Georgian model Marisha Urushadze stars in the Gucci pre-fall 2018 collection ‘Lookbook’, with photographs taken by Peter Schlesinger across different locations in the city of Rome, Italy. The Gucci pre-fall 2018 collection look is said to be inspired by the Italian filmmaker Dario Argento’s works.
“The Gucci girl is a horror-movie buff, one of her favorite directors is the Italian Dario Argento, whose best work in 70s and 80s celebrated Rome’s nocturnal dark side,” Tiziana Cardini writes in her article on Vogue.com, about Gucci’s latest collection, adding that Alessandro Michele, creative director of the brand, is himself Argento’s biggest fan, and that it’s with his help that “a few of the bizarre locations, where Argento shot his most sinister, spooky scenes” were chosen.
Georgian Marisha Urushadze presents eight of the 82 looks of the new collection. In 2017, she has become a model for the Gucci brand, also previously working for Maison Margiela, Diesel, Givenchy and Chloe.
