Irakli Kobakhidze Meets with Prime Minister of Poland

Chairperson of the Georgian Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze met with the Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, today, while on an official visit to the country, to discuss the strengthening of Georgian-Polish relations and the situation in the region. 

Within the Georgian parliament delegation visit to the country, an agreement between the Sejm and senate of Poland and Georgian parliament will be signed, the Georgian delegation to meet with the marshals of Poland’s Sejm and senate. In addition, Irakli Kobakhidze will be meeting Malgorzata Gosiewska, head of the Poland-Georgia friendship group. 

An exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Polish-Georgian relations is also planned in Warsaw today, with the Georgian Parliament delegation set to attend it. During his visit, later today, Irakli Kobakhidze will be holding meetings in senate. The Georgian Parliament’s delegation visit to Poland ends tomorrow on December 19.
