Prime Minister of Lithuania Arrives on Official Visit to Tbilisi
Saulius Skvernelis, Prime Minister of Lithuania, arrived on an official visit to Tbilisi today, welcomed by Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, at the government’s administration office this morning. After the one-to-one meeting between the Georgian and Lithuanian Prime Ministers has taken place, an extended meeting with the Lithuanian delegation members is planned.
Saulius Skvernelis will be meeting with the Georgian PM and the Parliament Chairperson Irakli Kobakhidze during his two-day visit to Georgia. Prime Minister of Lithuania will visit the Odzisi village near the occupation line, and the IDP settlement in Phrezeti, Georgian media reports. Also during his official visit, Saulius Skvernelis will visit the heroes’ memorial, and lay a wreath in memory of the Georgian heroes, and visit old Tbilisi and Georgia’s ancient capital of Mtskheta.
After the face to face meeting, Prime Ministers of Lithuania and Georgia will make announcements for the press.
