“Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel” Exhibition to Open at National Gallery

For the first time in Georgia, Michelangelo Buonarroti’s preparatory drawings will be exhibited at the Dimitry Shevardnadze National Gallery, Tbilisi from February 2. The exposition will be entitled “Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel”, to showcase Michelangelo’s 6 graphic works from Casa Buonarroti Museum collections in Florence.

The exhibition is jointly organized by the Embassy of Italy to Georgia and The National Museum of Georgia. Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel exposition will run through April 3, 2018 inclusive.
